This information is collected directly from you, or where appropriate, from your referring GP, family member (with your consent), or other health professionals involved in your care.

We collect this information in order to:
- Provide psychological care and tailored treatment
- Communicate with you and your healthcare providers
- Fulfil legal and ethical obligations
- Process billing, Medicare rebates, or third-party payments
How we store & protect it
Your records are securely stored digitally via encrypted practice management software and are only accessible to authorised staff. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access.
Who we share it with
We only share your information when:
- You give written consent
- Required by law (e.g. court subpoenas, mandated reporting concerning the safety of a child)
- When there is an immediate and specified risk of harm to yourself or someone else (that can only be mitigated by sharing information)
- Referring to or collaborating with another health professional, such as your referrer (e.g. GP) or funding body (e.g. TAC)
We will never share or sell your personal information for marketing or unrelated purposes.
Accessing or updating your information
You have the right to access your personal information or request corrections. Please contact us in writing, and we’ll respond within 30 days.
