Clinical supervision for aspiring psychologists

Are you a psychologist looking for a clinical supervisor? Our senior clinical psychologists are Board-Approved Supervisors with the APS, and can offer supervision. We all have considerable backgrounds in public health, which has greatly influenced our scope of practice and our exposure to complex cases, crisis work, risk management and intervention skills.

We practice from a reflective framework and aim to create a safe space for you to develop your identity as a clinician.

We are able to support:

  • Provisional psychologists on the 4+2 pathway
  • Provisional psychologists on the 5+1 pathway
  • General psychologists undertaking their clinical registrar program
  • All other general psychologists and clinical psychologists

We always recommend a meet-and-greet for new supervisees, to see if we’re a good fit. For more information and availability, please contact us.

Psychology FAQs

These are just some of the commonly asked questions we get about our services.

No referral is needed to book an appointment privately. If you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you’ll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.

Sessions run for 50–60 minutes. The number of sessions you’ll need will depend on the complexity of the problem and the treatment plan. We’ll speak to you about this at your first session.

Most definitely – we’ll factor this in when you make an appointment. It makes total sense that you’d want to continue to see the same psychologist for therapy.

The outcomes in therapy depend on a few things: the complexity and chronicity of the problem, any barriers that may block your progress, and your relationship with your psychologist. The good news is that we can generally work through all of these things.

Assessments involve questionnaires, interviews, and standardised tests tailored to your needs, such as ADHD, ASD, or cognitive assessments, with a detailed report and feedback session included. The cost for assessments is determined on a case-by-case basis.
